This website is designed to provide STRP National Focal Points (STRP NFPs) and the whole Ramsar Community with easy access to information about the work of the STRP and to enable STRP NFPs (and anyone else) to contribute to the delivery of its tasks.

This site is an instrument to promote the steady improvement of information-exchange within the STRP and the Ramsar community.

On this website, you will find information about our work, finalised STRP documents and other wetland resources, such as news and upcoming events. There is also a page dedicated to the list of specific information requests for which we seek your contributions. Your wetland stories from around the world are also warmly welcome!

The website also has a password-protected work space called the STRP Work Space, previously known as the 'STRP Support Service (SuSe)', to facilitate discussions and the review of new guidance materials among STRP members, STRP NFPs and invited experts. The Ramsar Secretariat provides eligible members with a username and password.

The work of the STRP is divided into five thematic work areas (approved in Resolution XI.5, Proposed new framework for delivery of scientific and technical advice and guidance on the Convention.

This website is currently in English, but we hope to have more resources in the future to also run it in French and Spanish!
